Story behind the song
Conceived March 1989. This is Take 1 Mix 1. Recorded March 1989 Yamaha MT-100
The bare beginnings of the song, recorded on 4 track cassette.
First set of Overdubs were:
1)- Stereo L/R Drums-Cymbals on Tracks 1&2 from my drum machines preset song, once again controlling fills, ending pattern with foot pedals whilst I...
2)- laid down on Track 3 Rhythm Guitar, with the same identical foot pedal setup used for the ERG of "HMKS" take 1
4) - fake "Bass" Guitar on Track 4, followed by
5)-mix down to Stereo, & then bounce back to Tracks 1&2, then followed by
6)-Lead Guitar on Track 3......
....which sounds like it was recorded thru a f***ing TIN CAN, for some reason, and then finally
7)-additional Cymbal, Toms & Percussion fills on Track 4, featuring...
....COWBELL!! (MORE COWBELL!!)
Actually I didn't go as "GENE FINKLE" as I would on some other takes, & kept it pretty restrained.....
.....for once!! :)
